Utah Petroleum Association Return Policy

Any cancellation of an event related purchase (event registration, sponsorship or similar) 15 days prior to the event is non-refundable or exchangeable. If you cancel your event related purchase more than 15 days prior to an event we will attempt to resell your registration, sponsorship or similar, and if successful, a refund will be provided.

Non-payment policy: Please be sure your payment has been received on or before event date. We reserve the right to turn people away, regardless of registration status, if payment has not been received by the event date.

To request a return, please contact us and forward your invoice or purchase confirmation.

Refunds: Once your return request is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund per this policy. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds: If your return request was approved and you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at upa@utahpetroleum.org.

Exchanges: Please let us know if you would prefer to use paid funds as an exchange instead of a refund, in the case of approved return requests. We can reallocate the funds to pay for membership dues or for a future event. 

Cancellations: If for any reason UPA needs to cancel an event, you will receive a full refund. If you would prefer to have your funds used as an exchange for dues or a future event registration, we are happy to accommodate. Thank you.
