What you should know if you are a Hole Sponsor:

First of all, thank you to all our awesome hole sponsors! This is a fun and interesting event because of the efforts of all of you! As a sponsor, there is no requirement that you need to do anything at your sponsored hole. We will take care of the sign with your logo and if that is all you want to do, that is your prerogative. However, this is your opportunity to let folks know who you are and what you do, make some new industry friends and get your company noticed!

Please read the below information to familiarize yourself with what is expected. It seems that every year is a little different from the one before. Thank you for your understanding.

TOOT YOUR HORN!: Hole sponsors are strongly encouraged to promote the service they provide to the industry. This can be done through brochures, games, contests, a representative, refreshments (from course caterers), promotional items, samples, etc. Contact UPA if you have plans for large prize contest (like a hole-in-one contest), as they require insurance, committee approval and coordination of logistics. Whatever you choose to do, please make sure that it does not slow down or hinder play.

SIGNS: UPA will provide an 18” x 24” sign with logo for each sponsor and will have it placed at the hole for you. Please send a current company logo in a vector format unless we have one already on file. You are welcome to bring any additional signage.

EQUIPMENT AND SET-UP: Each hole sponsor is responsible for any equipment, tent, awning, or table set-up at their holes. Be mindful that we will be out in the elements, so wind, sun or rain may be a factor.  To avoid the confusion at registration time, we would prefer that you set-up your hole(s) early! Begin at 6:30 a.m. and try to finish before 7:30 a.m.  Shotgun start is at 8:00 am. Some holes are accessible by car, but most require a cart and only a few golf carts will be available on a first come first serve basis. If you have questions, special needs, or set-up requirements for your specific location, please contact the respective golf courses.

REFRESHMENTS: Please do not bring refreshments (food or drinks) onto the course that have been purchased elsewhere. Soldier Hollow Grill and Wasatch Park Cafe have a policy that requires that ALL refreshments provided at the holes must be purchased through them. We function under each caterer’s Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol License. No outside food will be allowed on the course unless you specifically make arrangements with the caterers. No cooking or outside food will be allowed on the course without their permission.

To place your orders, contact the Soldier Hollow Grill (435) 654-9112 or Wasatch Park Café (435) 654-2139.  Be sure to settle your account before you leave.
Approximate costs are as follows (prices may change so be sure to ask upon ordering). They will deliver to the hole on ice:
Snacks (chips, nuts, jerky, candy, candy bars, etc.: $2 each
Drinks (case of 24): Soda $30, Water $40, Poweraid $50 and Beer $55

SWAG OR RAFFLE ITEMS: You may absolutely distribute swag at your sponsored hole. We are also pleased to accept any donations for our gift bags or raffle drawing. We have approximately 288 gift bags for Soldier Hollow and 144 at Wasatch. However, any amount will be put to good use. Smaller items (pens, divot repair tools, golf balls, mugs, etc.) will be included in our gift bags, and larger items (trips, sweatshirts, golf clubs, iPads, TV’s, etc.) will be reserved for our raffle drawing. Please contact Jennette if you have donations, as we like to include your name in our program as a contributor and can make drop-off arrangements. We thank you for your generosity!
