UPA's Midyear Meeting is being held in conjunction with the 8th Annual UPA Charity Golf Classic held the following day at nearby Soldier Hollow and Wasatch Mt. Golf Courses. The Midyear Meeting is a great opportunity to gather as an industry, hear select speakers on important current topics, and connect with other oil and gas professionals and industry friends.
As development has increased in the Uinta Basin, so has the need to reach out to the the local community to answer important questions about the industry and help bring a level of comfort with what the industry does and represents in Uintah and Duchesne Counties. UPA, and Member Companies, are committed to be good neighbors and work to build and maintain the relationships that will allow our industry to flourish and provide the jobs and economic development the Basin needs in a way that local residents understand and accept. For that purpose, we've instituted a series of quarterly Community Outreach Forums to bring industry and the community together to talk about the important issues we all face.
UPA’s Member CONNECT Luncheons are offered to bring UPA Members together to hear and learn about important issues facing Utah’s petroleum industries. These forums also provide a great opportunity to spend time with other industry members and learn about each other’s businesses. The Lunch Series will feature topics related to both the Upstream and Downstream ends of the oil and gas industry as well as legislative, regulatory or political guest speakers.
